Finances make it hard to divorce during a recession
Personal finances can be so bad during recessions that couples are forced to put off divorce, simply because they can’t afford to live on their own.
Experts say figuring out how to split up a household can be daunting, especially for women who have relied on bread-winning husbands.
“The worst fear is financial,” said Len Doria, a divorcing mom of four.
